Let's start with you

Before we talk money, let's talk about how you feel about money.

OPEN WITH
"What made you book this session? What's the one thing you most want to figure out today?"
FOLLOW UP
"How would you describe your relationship with money right now? Stressful, okay, or somewhere in between?"
DIG DEEPER
"What does having your money sorted actually look like for you — what changes in your life when that happens?"
💡 Listen for: what's driving the urgency, what they've already tried, and what they're most afraid of. That shapes how you frame everything that follows.

Phase 03 · 25–38 min

Should you save, invest, or both?

The order matters — here's the framework.

1
Clear high-interest debt first
Credit cards, personal loans, BNPL. High-interest debt costs more than any investment returns. Attack it first.
PRIORITY 1
2
Build your emergency fund (3–6 months of expenses)
This is your safety net. Without it, one unexpected expense can wipe out your progress. Keep it in a high-yield savings account.
PRIORITY 2
3
Invest your surplus consistently
Once debt is cleared and emergency fund is set, every spare euro can start working for you. The amount matters less than the habit.
PRIORITY 3
💡 Exception: If you only have low-interest debt (e.g. a fixed student loan), you can do both at the same time. Minimum debt payments + small monthly investment = best of both worlds.

Phase 04 · 38–48 min

Investing in plain English

No jargon. Just what the words actually mean.

🏢
A Stock
A tiny piece of ownership in one company. Buy Apple stock — you own a slice of Apple. Grows when Apple grows. Risky if it's all you hold.
One brick in one building
🧺
An Index Fund
Instead of one company, you buy a piece of hundreds at once. If one fails, the others carry it. Simple, boring, effective.
Owning the whole high street
📦
An ETF
An index fund you buy on an app in two clicks. A basket of investments in one go. Low fees, beginner-friendly. This is what most people start with.
A shopping basket, one click
🌱 Compound interest
Your returns earn returns. €200/month at 8% for 20 years = ~€118,000. You only put in €48,000. The rest is compound interest doing the work.
📅 Time in the market
The market will dip — that's normal. The investors who lose money are the ones who panic-sell. Leave it alone, and history shows it always comes back.
